Acrylic on Hand Stretched Canvas 20" x 16" x .5" Artist Statement The act of “making” is an answer to many of my problems. The main one being, preparation. Within my current body of work there is a strong focus on communication with as little information necessary to truly capture moments through the universal language of mark-making. I intend to continue to teeter the line of abstraction and realism through minimal marks to find how little you truly need to communicate through imagery and still manage to engage my audience.
