Apricity Ceramics
Apricity is the warmth of the sun on a winter day, and Sophia Keys named her studio for it. She works in hand-mixed porcelain, finishing pieces with hand-mixed glazes and hand-painted 22k gold. The forms draw on vintage design without reproducing it, so the work reads as familiar before it reads as new. Functional ware made for the table and the nightstand: mugs, trinket dishes, trays, planters, and ring cones.
