Christa Darshea is a multidisciplinary artist based out of Southwest Virginia. She primarily works with greyscale pens on black paper, creating intricate works often based on folklore, botanical illustrations, and personal visions. Her work often features elements of mysticism and celestial imagery. 

In addition to pen and ink work, Christa also does woodburning, creating one-of-a-kind boxes with gemstone inlays.

She also dabbles in fiber art, various printing methods, and jewerly making from time to time. Christa is mostly self-taught and enjoys trying new mediums whenever she gets the chance.
