Eco Print Leaf Journal
Handbound by Jonah Woodstock

Eco Print Leaf Journal is a one-of-a-kind object, each journal has 40 pages (when used front and back) of unlined, Ivory colored, heavy weight paper.

Shaped by both hand and nature. Created by Jonah Woodstock in his Asheville studio, these journals reflect a practice rooted in reflection, resourcefulness, and deep respect for materials.

Using a natural dyeing process known as tannic-iron eco printing, real leaves are pressed into the material to create organic, unpredictable patterns. No two covers are ever the same. Each print is then carefully folded, filled with quality paper, and hand bound with durable waxed linen thread.

Jonah’s work is deeply informed by his self-taught background and years of experimentation. His process blends traditional bookbinding techniques with a commitment to sustainability. Many materials are repurposed or locally sourced whenever possible, giving each piece a sense of history and intention.

These journals are both functional and collectible, ideal for writing, sketching, or keeping as an art object.
