Appalachian Trinkets
Small handmade objects from working Appalachian makers. Brooms bound by hand from harvested handles, keepsake boxes finished with carved and wood-burned surfaces, ceramic dishes for the things that collect on a nightstand, candles poured in small batches. Everything here is made by a person whose name we can tell you, in quantities small enough that the shelf changes often.

Formato Fine Arts
100 W Main Street
The home of Formato Fine Arts sits inside one of Wytheville’s most historic structures. Built as the original courthouse and jailhouse, the building still carries its early brick and limestone. After sitting vacant for many years, it has been restored with care while keeping its original character intact. Today the space blends historic architecture with contemporary art, creating a place where the past and present meet in the center of downtown Wytheville.
